Ingredients: Activated Carbon (Coconut Shell Charcoal) (Food grade), Bentonite (Food Grade), Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Leaf Oil. (This product is not intended to be ingested however).
Directions: Carefully open the jar. Wet your tooth brush, and dip into the powder (You only need a little!) Brush with it in small, gentle, circular motions for 2 minutes with lips closed, spit carefully and then rinse. (You may want to brush again with water to remove any residue.)

How does it work?
The four ingredients work individually and synergistically for a cleaner, fresher mouth.
Activated Coconut Shell Charcoal (ultra-fine) polishes the teeth and detoxifies the mouth. Bentonite Clay has a magnetic charge that adsorbs toxins from the teeth and gums and eliminates them. Organic spearmint is anti-bacterial, antifungal and antiviral helping to soothe teeth and gums and improve sensitivity. Used in the 14th century for teeth whitening, it is also a great breath freshener. Organic lemon has high vitamin content, making it a wonderful booster for the body’s immune system. Made from lemon rind, it is not acidic.

Do I use this in place of toothpaste?
Yes, you can. We recommend using at night before bed, but you can use it anytime.
How often should I use it?
We recommend brushing your teeth every day, but you can use it as often as you like.
How long will this take to whiten my teeth?
Zoo Teeth Whitener is a natural way to whiten your teeth. You may notice an immediate improvement, or it may be more gradual. With regular use, your oral health will improve and your mouth will feel fresher and your smile brighter!
What does Zoo Teeth Whitener taste like?
It is flavourless, but does deliver a fresh after taste in the mouth.
Can I use it if I have sensitive teeth/gums?
Yes. Some people have reported that they use it as a remedy for teeth and gum sensitivity. We recommend using a soft toothbrush.
Is it safe for my enamel?
Yes, it contains no chemicals and is 100% natural. We use ultra fine granules that are gentle on the enamel and because stains and toxins are lifted from the teeth, there is no need to scrub!
Is this safe on Dental Work?
There are no chemical bleaches in Zoo Teeth Whitener, so you don’t have to worry that it will harm dental work but we recommend trying a small area first to make sure, or if you are worried check with your dentist.
Can I use it if I am pregnant?
Zoo Teeth Whitener ingredients are all natural, and a safer alternative to teeth whitening than regular toothpastes and teeth whiteners which are full of chemicals, but for peace of mind, we recommend you check with your health professional.
Is it tested on animals?
Zoo Teeth Whitener is cruelty free and not tested on animals.
Will it stain?
Yes...so be careful. See below for helpful tips to minimise risks of staining clothes, etc and making a mess.
Caution: It’s a powder, it’s black and therefore it can be a little messy!
Helpful tips:
- Open over the sink
- There is no need to brush very hard, because the powder lifts the stains and toxins out of your mouth, rather than scrubbing them off
- Brush with Zoo Teeth Whitener and then jump in the shower before you rinse. This is highly recommended because the longer you have our tooth powder in your mouth, the more effective it is. Good too, if you are worried about your kids making a mess
- The charcoal will turn your toothbrush black, and if this is a problem for you, you may want to use a separate toothbrush.
- If you use an electric toothbrush, close your lips before you turn it on!
