Clary Sage is the most euphoric of all essential oils; it has powerful anti-depressant qualities easing depression, melancholia, anxiety, and stress. It is known to regulate hormone levels and is used as an aphrodisiac. It is known for its ability to rejuvenate and calm the skin.

Skincare - Clary Sage has antiseptic qualities; it balances oil production and is used for balancing hormonal breakouts and, calming acne, fighting inflammation and wrinkles.
Clary Sage is used in hair care products to help combat greasy hair and scalp and prevent dandruff and hair loss.
Mind - Clary Sage is a natural anti-depressant that eases stress-related disorders and is a known aphrodisiac.
Body - Clary Sage is an essential oil to help ease pre-menstrual symptoms of the body and mind. Quick-acting when added to massage oil, bath or compress for abdominal and lower back cramps before or during menstruation and to help during labour. It is also beneficial during menopause to help with hot flashes and hormonal imbalances, especially where irritability is present. Clary Sage is also known to assist with digestive disorders, muscle pain, asthma, and throat infections.
Blends Well With:
Bay, bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, cedarwood, chamomile, coriander, cypress, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemon balm, lime, mandarin, patchouli, petitgrain, pine, rose, sandalwood, and tea tree.
Precautions:
Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitising. Avoid during pregnancy. Please do not use it while drinking alcohol (as it makes the wine more intoxicating), and do not use it when taking medications containing iron.
Never use essential oils undiluted in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.
Before using topically, perform a small patch test on your inner forearm by applying a small quantity of diluted essential oil. Wash the area if you experience any irritation. If no irritation occurs after 48 hours, it is safe to use on your skin.
