By simply replacing your plastic toothbrush with a bamboo one, you’ll save all those worn out brushes going in the bin!! When you are finished with your bamboo brush, the handle can be composted and most of the options available today come in cardboard packaging too!!
Go the Extra Mile
Lots of our oral care routines also involve floss which yes… you guessed it….is usually made of plastic. There are now compostable floss options too. Some of them come on little glass bottles and you can purchase refill rolls of floss so you can green up your entire teeth cleaning experience.
And don’t forget the toothpaste….!! Yes, of course….. this ALSO comes packaged in plastic. To get rid of yet more plastic from your bathroom, there are now toothpaste tabs available. Little ‘pills’ of toothpaste that come in jars or tins that can be reused or recycled. Another great low/no waste option for your bathroom cabinet!!
